Donetsk, Feb 20 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic authorities has launched the evacuation of Artyomovsk residents to Shakhtyorsk, an official told the Donetsk News Agency on Monday.
“A group of 70 people has been formed; some of them will move out today for sure, ” Shakhtyorsk mayor Alexander Shatov said. “They are Artyomovsk and Paraskoviyevka village residents.”
They will leave for Shakhtyorsk on Monday afternoon, he added.
Shatov told Dan on Sunday that the evacuation of residents had begun in Artyomovsk suburbs amid intense fighting. The evacuees are taken to temporary accommodation centers.*jk
