Donetsk, Jul 12 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic employment centres have found jobs for more than 11,000 people since the beginning of this year, Republican Employment Centre director Tamara Kozenko said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“Employment centres had 25,900 job seekers on file in the first half of 2018, down 15.1 percent (4,600 people) from the same period last year,” Kozenko said. “Jobs were provided to 11,100 people.”
One hundred and seventy-four disabled people were employed over the designated period, she added.
Nearly 8,000 people were involved in seasonal jobs such as repairs of houses and social infrastructure facilities, landscaping and area improvement.
DPR sets up the Employment Centre on 9 December 2014 to help residents in their search for jobs and subsequent employment.*jk
