Donetsk, Feb 15 - DAN. DPR Construction and Public Utilities Minister Sergey Naumets said 200 war-damaged houses in eight towns and districts of the Republic would be restored by the end of March.
“As you know, the private home sector is worst hit in the Republic, more than 21,000 private houses were damaged by shelling,” Naumets told reporters on Thursday. “We have contact with humanitarian missions at present, they provide assistance in rebuilding our Republic under a small programme.”
The programme covers eight towns and districts of the Republic and provides for repairs of 200 households having the degree of damage below 30 percent, the minister said. The deadline for repairs is 30 March.
Earlier reports said more than 26,000 apartment houses and private homes have been damaged across DPR in shelling by Ukrainian forces since the beginning of the Donbass conflict.*jk
