Donetsk, May 5 – DAN. Ukrainian forces use drones for fire adjustment, one of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) made in Western countries was brought down by DPR defense in DPR south, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"In all the cases of artillery and mortar shelling Ukrainian side largely resorted to UAVs to adjust fire. We can show you the debris of one of such drones. "
The UAV is a modified Shadow drone made in the USA and upgraded in Ukraine.
Employing combat aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles in 30km-wide zone along the line of contact is banned under Article 7 of Minsk Memorandum, with the exception to OSCE SMM UAVs.*ot
