Donetsk, Oct 31 - DAN. DPR cleared more than 100 million rubles of wage debt in the first three quarters of this year, head of the State Inspectorate for Monitoring Compliance with Labour Legislation, Chief Labour Inspector Sergey Chernobrivets told a news briefing at Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.

“Over nine months of 2017, a total of 105,545,000 rubles of overdue wages were paid per orders by state labour inspectors,” Chernobrivets said.

The sum does not include 2,143,300 rubles paid for overtime work, holidays and days off or as compensation for unused holiday. Another 10,760,000 rubles were paid by Reconciliation Sector in the settlement of labour disputes over wage debts.

“Officials arranged and carried out 620 checks at the Republic’s enterprises and organisation over the first nine months of 2017, including 188 labour protection inspections,” the chief labour inspector said.

The State Inspectorate for Monitoring Compliance with Labour Legislation was set up by DPR head’s decree dated 4 June 2015 by merging separate agencies dealing with state policies in labour relations.*jk
