Donetsk, Oct 12 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Central Republican Bank will close the accounts of natural persons, which have not been operated for two years by November 1, the regulator’s press service reported on Wednesday.
“Current accounts of natural persons (including the accounts where electronic payment facilities were used) which have been inactive for two straight years and show zero balance will be closed by November 1, 2022, ” the report said.
Residents can request details at Central Bank divisions.
The DPR’s Central Republican Bank was established in late 2014. It is a state-owned bank responsible for monetary policy in the interests of the DPR economy. The Bank’s operations include payments of social benefits and maintenance of state and local budgets accounts. It is an authorized licensing body in certain areas of activity. The CRB had also regulated the foreign currency market before adopting official foreign currency exchange rates quoted by the Central Bank of Russia.*jk
