Donetsk, Aug 30 - DAN. Large science fiction festival TerriKON will take place in Donetsk on September 29-30, project organiser Yekaterina Butskaya told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“The annual science fiction, fantasy and anime festival will take place on the premises of the Mebelgrad shopping mall in Donetsk on September 29-30,” Butskaya said.
Actors, artists, cartoonists, writers, dance groups and all those interested in science fiction in all its forms are welcome. Applications for the best cosplay are open till September 16.
A large number of applications is coming from residents of Donetsk, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya and Enakievo; there are also participants from Kiev-controlled areas of the Donetsk region, she added.
Festival guests will be offered spectacular cosplay performances, presentations of fan booths, meetings and master classes with artists and writers, a theme fair, video games etc.
Tickets for the event can be purchased in the Otaku geek shop at 50a Artyoma Street, Planeta shopping centre, Donetsk.
It is the third TerriKON festival to be host by Donetsk. The first took place in March 2017. Several thousand people, including 500 participants attended TerriKONs since.*jk
