Donetsk, Aug 5 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic authorities provided financial aid to more than 90 compatriots from Kiev-held areas of Donbass over the past week, the Republic’s Labour and Social Policy Ministry said on Monday.

“From July 29 to August 5, financial assistance was provided to 93 residents of Kiev-controlled teritory,” the Ministry said.

Payments over the designated period reached 1,116,000 rubles, it added.

The DPR has implemented the humanitarian program since February 2017. Its objective is to strengthen cultural, humanitarian and professional ties and provide social and public services. The Republic provides medical and financial support and allocates higher education grants to residents of Kiev-held areas; it also carries out events to support cultural values of the region.*ot
