Donetsk, Mar 23 – DAN. DPR Air Defence has intercepted a Ukrainian Tochka-U tactical missile over Enakiyevo, the DPR Territorial Defence HQ said.
"In the evening of March 22, outside Karla Marksa township in Enakiyevo, a Tochka-U missile was intercepted, it was aimed at civilian infrastructure in the DPR," the report reads.
Earlier, two identical missiles were downed over Makeyevka, the debris landed in a field next to the Zelyonyi residential area.
Tochka-U is a tactical missile system with effective range of 120 km. It can be equipped with conventional, nuclear or chemical warheads.
Kiev forces fired nearly two dozen missiles of this kind since the escalation of the conflict. *ot
