Donetsk, Jun 20 - DAN. DPR’s public commission for recording Kiev’s war crimes in Donbass over two years of its work has passed 31 cases of victims tortured in Ukrainian captivity to the International Criminal Court.

“Case materials on 220 victims have been passed the International Criminal court, including 120 minors’ cases and 31 cases of the people tortured in Ukrainian captivity,” Commission member, lawyer Elena Shishkina said at Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.

The Public Commission plans to hand over another 40 cases of victims to the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights later this month.

The Public Commission for Recording Kiev’s war crimes in Donbass began to work in mid-2015. It includes specialists in various fields such as law and criminal investigation.

Meanwhile, DPR has a governmental special commission with similar functions at work, established at DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko’s order.*jk
