Donetsk, Sep 22 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic is 100 percent ready to hold the referendum, DPR Central Election Commission Chairman Vladimir Vysotsky told reporters on Thursday.
“Our election system is 100 percent ready for the referendum, ” Vysotsky said. “We are ready.”
On September 23-27, the Donetsk People’s Republic will hold the referendum over joining the Russian Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would support the decisions of residents of Donbass and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions on their future which will be made at the upcoming referenda.*jk
