Donetsk, Jun 9 — DAN. “Donbass Post” plans to issue a series of stamps depicting places of interest in the Donetsk People’s Republic to mark Russia Day, the press service of the state-owned enterprise said on Friday.

“The series shows Donbass heritage sites known to the general public, ” the press eservice told the Donetsk News Agency. “They include the Saur-Mogila war memorial, Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior, Donbass Liberators monument, steelworker commemorative sign in Yenakiyevo and Makeyevka memorial glorifying the coalminers’ labor.”

The upcoming issue is a part of the “Regions” series, the press service said.

“Donbass Post” earlier released a cupronickel stamp marking the 245th anniversary of the founding of Mariupol, in a limited issue of 300 pieces. *jk
