Donetsk, Aug 30 - DAN. A dome and a cross have been installed on the new church in the Nikishino village, the Shakhtyorsk town administation press service said on Thursday.
“In 2016, the Nikishino church foundation stone was laid thanks to patrons from the Russian Federation. On August 29, 2018, a new dome with a cross were installed on the new church,” the administration said in a statement.
A divine service in the unfinished temple was held prior to installation works.
All buildings in the Nikishino village were destroyed or damaged during the fighting in 2014-2015. Local authorities said that all the repairable houses -- 133 out of 353 -- have been restored.*jk
