Donetsk, Apr 7 – DAN. The first-level pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water pipe was halted on Tuesday due to power supply interruption as a result of Ukrainian shelling, the DPR Emergencies Ministry press service said.
"On April 6, power supply went down in Vasilyevka, Yasinovataya district, following Ukrainian shelling. The first-level pumping station of the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct was halted."
Dokuchayevsk and Elenovka were left without water supply.
Repair works and their timing will kick off after security guarantees coordination.
Earlier reports said that power supply to Vasilyevka had been interrupted by Ukrainian fire, two buildings had been damaged.
Vasilyevskaya pumping station is located in the Vasilyevskoye village outside Yasinovataya. It is connected to the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct providing water to residential areas on both sides of the contact line. It regularly becomes target of the Ukrainian fire. *ot
