Donetsk, Jul 21 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired about 435 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic settlements on Thursday.

Military situation

Ukrainian gunmen on Thursday shelled the Leninsky, Kievsky, Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Petrovsky districts of the DPR capital, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, Dolomitnoye, Dolya, Luganskoye, Zaitsevo, Golmovsky, Ozeryanovka and Panteleimonovka. The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, cannon artillery, unguided airborne missiles and mortars.

Five civilians have been wounded in Luganskoye, Gorlovka, Donetsk and Yasinovataya in Ukrainian artillery attacks which also caused damage to dozens of houses, gas pipes and transmission lines. The pumping station in Yasinovataya and 28 electrical substations in Gorlovka went offline. The shelling caused power outages in the Shakhta Gagarina settlement, part of the Komsomolets neighborhood and the Shakhta Kalinina settlement.

Engineers eliminated about 53 “Lepestok” anti-personnel mines which Kiev gunmen had dropped on Yasinovataya a few days ago.

Humanitarian situation

A radio-relay communications line has been built between the villages of Krasnaya Polyana and Rozovka; a communications facility has been prepared for launching. 4G base stations have been launched in the villages of Mirnoye, Chervonoye, Melekino, Belosaraiskaya Kosa, Khlebodarovka, Starchenkovo, Novokrasnovka, Zlatoustovka, Maloyanisol, Pervomaiskoye and Komsomolsky.

Regional Energy Company specialists have repaired high-voltage transmission lines and electrical substations in Mariupol, Volnovakha, Krasny Liman and the villages of Sakhanka, Ilyichevskoye, Novoye, Lozovoye, Yatskoye, Rubtsy and Olginka.

The Volodarsky district has been connected to the gas supply network.

In Yasinovataya, workers began to rebuild the apartment house at 11 Leningradskaya Street; humanitarian aid was distributed between refugees from Krutaya Balka who are currently staying at a town dormitory. The distribution of bottled water is ongoing.

The DPR leader and the Kharkov region civil-military administration head have signed a joint communique.

Schoolchildren of the liberated Mangush were the first in the DPR to join the Russian project “Sambo (unarmed self-defense) to schools.”

Certificates of education have been handed in to future employees of the State Security Ministry.
