Donetsk, Jun 28 — DAN. A part of the demobilized students of the Donetsk People’s Republic are ready to return to the frontline to defend the Motherland, said DPR Acting Youth Policy Minister Kirill Makarov.

“There are those among the demobilized students who said that they are ready, if necessary, to take up arms again to defend the Motherland, ” Makarov told the Donetsk News Agency.

DPR authorities are paying special attention to this group helping them return to peaceful life. Individual approach is applied in each case. Students are actively invited to participate in various regional youth forums as speakers.

“Of course we send them there; they have a lot to tell. They tell their coevals about what is happening in Donbas thus setting the agenda, ” Makarov said.

The minister earlier told DAN about the role of the young generation in the modern Russia.

On November 13, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to demobilize the students from the Donbass Republics who had been called up to the frontline. Pursuant to presidential order, DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin discharged from military service the full-time and mixed attendance students. Later on, these students were decorated for participation in the special military operation. They are also entitled to free tuition at universities.*jk
