Donetsk, Jun 23 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry engineers found 5,150 explosive hazards in mine clearance operations across more than 50 hectares of land and more than 21,000 square meters of indoor space in the past seven days, said the Interdepartmental Operations Headquarters on priority measures in the life support of liberated areas.
Aid workers have distributed more than 10,000 food, hygiene and childen’s kits to residents of Volnovakha and the Starobeshevsky, Pershtravnevoye and Krasny Liman districts, and delivered 560 tons of water to Mariupol.
Pensions and allowances have been paid in 27 settlements. DPR authorities accepted some 10,000 applications for retirement benefits and financial assistance and employment centers registered 1,411 job seekers.
Water supply has been restored to Mariupol’s Ordzhnikidzesky district and one water supply facility resumed operation in Krasny Liman.
Repairs ran on high voltage transmission lines in a dozen liberated settlements; the Donbassgaz company worked on connecting customers in Mariupol Volnovakha and Kalinovka to the gas supply network.
The Phoenix mobile operator launched three new base stations in Mariupol and is preparing to launch another two in Volnovakha. The company is expected to launch 4G LTE base stations in Yalta, Komsomolskoye, Khlebodarovka, Mirny and Zlatoustovka.*jk
