Donetsk, Oct 28 — DAN. More than 223 billion rubles are needed to rebuild the Donetsk People’s Republic infrastructure damaged or destroyed by Ukrainian artillery attacks, the Russian Investigative Committee press service reported on Friday.

“According to the conclusions of the completed expert examinations, rebuilding costs already exceed 223 billion rubles, ” the press service said adding that damage assessment was ongoing.

As of now, specialists have inspected the towns of Mariupol, Rubezhnoye, Severdonetsk, Schastye, Kirovsk, Stakhanov, Krasny Luch, Stanitsa Luganskaya and Alchevsk. They recorded damage and destruction of more than 500 social and civil infrastructure facilities and almost 10,000 apartment and single-family houses.
