Donetsk, Feb 28 - DAN. A civilian in the frontline Gorlovka was wounded in shelling by Ukrainian forces on February 27, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.
“A 63-year-old resident was wounded when Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Gagarin Colliery neighbourhood in Gorlovka,” the report said.
The incident occurred on February 27. On Thursday, medical assistance was provided to the man upon his request, the JCCC added.
The strike at Gorlovka was delivered from the Kiev-held Dzerzhinsk on Wednesday afternoon. Twelve 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds were fired at Gorlovka’s western outskirts in about half an hour.
