Donetsk, Jun 28 – DAN. A civilian has been killed by Ukrainian forces shelling in western Donetsk’s Staromikhailovka neighborhood, DPR Operations Command said on Wednesday.
“At 4:50 p.m. a civilian man was killed in Staromikhailovka as a result of shelling by Ukrainian armed forces,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.
The enemy stationed in Krasnogorovka area used 120mm mortars and infantry fighting vehicle cannons, he added.
Earlier on Wednesday, DPR Command said that Kiev forces fired 69 mortar and artillery rounds at DPR, violating the ceasefire 21 times over 24 hours.
A “harvest ceasefire” aimed at facilitating the harvesting in Donbass came into force on June 24, as it had been agreed by the Contact Group members in Minsk. It was expected to last till August 31. *ot
