Ceasefire in effect from June 1, midnight, agreed to in Donbass - JCCC

Donetsk, May 31 – DAN.A ceasefire has been agreed to by Donbass conflict sides, in effect since midnight, June 1, a DPR representative in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination told DAN.

"An agreement has been reached with the Ukrainian side to enforce complete ceasefire as of midnight June 1," the interlocutor said.

He said the appropriate documents have been signed. Control over the ceasefire implementation will be carried out by the JCCC.

Earlier DPR DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin called on the Ukrainian side to cease fire as the International Day for the Protection of Children is upcoming. *ot
