Donetsk, Oct 28 – DAN. Five were killed and 16 wounded as Kiev forces shelled DPR territory yesterday, said the Republic's Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"In our view, October 27th will be remembered in the Republic as Bloody Thursday. Mortar and artillery rounds killed three civilians (across DPR), 10 suffered injuries with varying degrees of severity, including two children," he said.
According to Basurin, two DPR servicemen died in shelling and six were wounded.
In the evening of October 27 Kiev forces hit Makeevka living quarters using heavy artillery and mortars banned under Minsk Agreements. Two civilians were killed and 10 wounded.
Six residential houses were damaged including a kindergarten. Another civilian was killed by Ukrainian fire in Donetsk Petrovskiy district.
