Donetsk, Oct 9 – DAN. The shelling of Zaitsevo outside Gorlovka, which took place yesterday, was perpetrated by the 4th separate motorized battalion of the 128th mountain infantry brigade, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.
"A civilian, born in 1969, residing at Karbysheva 53 street in Zaitsevo, was killed by the shelling carried out from the positions of the 4th separate motorized battalion of the 128th mountain infantry brigade of Ukrainian army," said Basurin.
The murdered father of three had faced shelling before, and the family often took refuge in basement and reconstructed their house afterwards.
Basurin urged the OSCE and the UN to pay close attention to the incident and to assist in punishing its perpetrators.*ot
