Fighting and victims
The enemy used MLRS, artillery, and mortars to target the DPR, first explosions were heard at midnight.
At least 210 were fired, hitting at least 19 houses, a warehouse and a mine.
Two civilians were killed, nine injured.
More than 34,000 customers suffered blackouts; 109 mine workers at the Zasyadko coal mine remained trapped underground for almost five hours. Eventually they were successfully evacuated.
Over the week, 30 civilians lost their lives, 123 sustained injuries.
Offensive ongoing
DPR and LPR People’s Militia assisted by the Russian army has liquidated up to 70 members of Ukrainian armed formations over the last day.
As a result of the offensive of the allied forces in the area of Soledar, the losses of the 14th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than two thousand people.
Up to 70 pc of the listed personnel of the 56th motorized brigade were liquidated outside Opytnoye and Nevelskoye outside Donetsk, the entire 23rd battalion of the brigade defected from the combat zone to rear areas.
Half of the 3rd battalion of the 66th brigade were lost in Maryinka, a stronghold of the 58th motorized brigade, with five vehicles and 40 nationalists were destroyed.
A US-made AN/MPQ-64 radar system was destroyed.
Humanitarian situation
The DPR is to increase minimal monthly retirement benefits to 10,000 roubles (USD 164) for the period of July 1 — December 31, 2022.
DPR authorities are now accepting applications for compensations for property destroyed or damaged during the military action.
The mechanism of compensation payments to first responders, killed or injured after February 18, has been established by the DPR Government.
Reconstruction efforts
The Amur region took patronage over the Amvrosievska district to help it with the repairs of water supply systems. The authorities of the region also organized a trip for 85 schoolchildren to the Crimea.
Restoration work with the assistance of the Chelyabinsk region began at the social facilities of Yasinovataya. Now educational facilities are being restored.
In Mariupol, more than 2,700 customers were connected to broadband Internet, including administrative bodies, a number of medical and social institutions. The restoration of the tram system continues: 24 out of 70 trams that were registered before the active fighting began were repaired.
Almost 130 thousand sq m of new housing are to be built within a year in Mariupol. More than five thousand experts are currently involved in the restoration work.
Other news
The DPR will switch to Russian sanitary standards from January 1, 2023. At the same time, the Russian standards will be immediately applied to the sanitary and epidemiological supervision of newly constructed buildings, objects of reconstruction, major and current repairs.
