Donetsk, Jun 8 - DAN. At least eight houses have been damaged in DPR in shelling by Ukrainian forces over the past 24 hours, according to reports by local administrations and the Republic’s Operations Command.
“Starting at 15:00 on Wednesday, Ukrainian forces fired at Yasinovataya outskirts, damaging the roof of a house in Shirokaya Street, Krutaya Balka village, and the frontages of another two houses in the same street.
“A house in Mineralnoye village sustained damage to the roof. The house owners were not hurt,” acting Yasinovataya administration head Oleg Morgun told Donetsk News Agency.
Meanwhile, a house in Rudneva Street in Zaitsevo village outside Gorlovka was fully destroyed as it took a direct hit by a mortar round, acting administration head Ivan Prikhodko said.
DPR Operations Command reported damage to a balcony of a apartment house in Lenin Street in Dokuchayevsk and two houses in Gorkogo Street in Alexandrovka village, western Donetsk.
Earlier reports said Ukrainian forces fire disrupted electricity and natural gas supply to two villages outside Yasinovataya leaving 409 consumers without electricity and 400 consumers without gas.
The Voda Donbass state-owned water supply enterprise said a pumping station of the Yuzhno-Donbasskiy water duct outside Yasinovataya suspended operation due to shelling. Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire 52 times firing at 20 DPR settlements over the past 24 hours. *jk
