Donetsk, Mar 15 – DAN. DPR has started registering patients in need of medical care, currently living in Kiev-controlled Donbass territories, said the Ministry of Health.

"Today we have started registering patients from Kiev-controlled DPR territories who need medical assistance. (We register) via the hotline of the ministry and medical institutions who provide highly specific medical aid within the framework of Donbass people reunification program."

The patience who request medical aid in DPR should e-mail their documents after receiving consultation and the commission shall define the problem and id the diagnosis is confirmed the patient will be registered.

The hotline phone numbers are available in the Ministry of Health website.

The medical assistance is provided to patients with various conditions including those in need of chemotherapy and obstetrics.

On 17 February 2017 DPR and LPR Heads Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitskiy launched the program of humanitarian assistance for residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donbass. The key objective of the program is to provide financial, medical and educational assistance to socially vulnerable groups. A website and hotline were launched for people who need consultations.*ot
