Donetsk, Apr 27 - DAN. More than 800 houses in the Donetsk People’s Republic were damaged by Ukrainian army strikes in the first quarter of 2017, DPR Construction, Housing and Utilities Ministry press service reported on Thursday.
“In the first quarter of this year, 599 detached homes and 238 apartment houses in the Donetsk People’s Republic sustained shelling damage,” the report said.
The information about damage to residential areas came from local administrations. Overall, 20,700 detached homes and 4,745 residential houses have been damaged since the beginning of Ukraine's offensive against Donbass.
Of those, 9,722 houses sustained serious damage and another 2,050 are beyond repair.*jk
