Donetsk, Feb 2 — DAN. Construction workers rebuilt 64 in- and out-patient hospitals in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions last year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said on Thursday.
“To provide residents with quality medical assistance, workers restored 64 in-and out-patient hospitals there in less than a year, ” Khusnullin said adding that repairs on some 100 facilities were ongoing.
Two floors of a six-storey perinatal center in Donetsk have already been built. The project is due to be finished by yearend, he said.
Earlier reports said that a transfusion department had been launched in Volnovakha following repairs conducted with the assistance of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area.*jk
