Donetsk, Jan 10 – DAN. DPR authorities plan to restore 500 residential houses in Donetsk’s frontline Petrovskiy district, which were damaged by Ukrainian forces shelling, district administration head Maksim Zhukovskiy told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.

“In 2017, we plan to restore 500 residential houses in Petrovskiy district as part of the 3rd phase of rebuilding,” Zhukovskiy said. “These are the houses that sustained 30 percent damage to roof, façade and windows.”

Overall, 2,430 houses in Petrovskiy district were damaged in Kiev offensive: 1,950 private properties and 480 apartment houses; 102 residential houses were fully destroyed, and about 100 have not been inspected because of their proximity to the field of fire, local officials said. *jk
