Donetsk, Feb 7 - DAN. Twenty prisoners who said they wanted to serve out their sentences in Ukraine were handed over to Kiev on Wednesday, the DPR ombudswoman’s office said.

“On 7 February, 20 prisoners who wish to continue serving their sentences in Ukrainian prisons were passed to Kiev,” the ombudswoman’s office said in a statement.

The handover took place pursuant to DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko’s decree. It passed without incidents, it said.
