Donetsk, Aug 14 - DAN. Medics of the Donetsk Regional Clinical Territorial Medical Association (DoKTMO) provided assistance to more than 16,500 Donbass residents under the aegis of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme in the first half of this year, the Donetsk People’s Republic Health Care Ministry press service reported on Tuesday.
“Over the first six months of 2018, DoKTMO medics treated more than 2,000 residents of Kiev-held Donbass areas in the line of “multi-profile hospital providing highly specialised assistance to adults,” the press service said. “As for DPR patients, more than 14,500 patients received skilled medical help.”
The DPR has been implementing the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme since February 2017. The health care segment of the programme envisions medical assistance in 12 areas including cancer surgery, obstetrics, chemotherapy, gynecological surgery, prosthetics and vaccination.*jk
