Donetsk, Jun 13 — DAN. Thirteen servicemen of the Donetsk People’s Republic, released by Ukraine on June 11, have returned home, DPR ombudsperson Darya Morozova said on Tuesday.
“Ninety-four Russian servicemen including 13 DPR fighters returned home following the prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine on June 11, ” Morozova said.
Two of the DPR fighters spent more than a year in Ukrainian prisons. One of them is a mobilized student, she said adding that Russian medics were providing the necessary assistance to the former POWs. *jk
