Donetsk, Feb 25 - DAN. A strike by Ukrainian army units caused a power outage at the 6/7 Colliery settlement in northwestern Gorlovka on Tuesday morning, the Donetsk People’s Republic Coal and Energy Ministry press service reported.
“Gorlovka came under fire today; a power outage occurred at the 6/7 Colliery settlement at 06:30,” the press service said. “Overall, 1,024 customers were left without electricity.”
A 6 kW high-voltage line went offline and nine electrical substations deactivated. At present, Regional Power Supply Company specialists are locating the scene of the incident.
The DPR Office at the JCCC sent a team to Gorlovka to obtain more accurate information about the shelling.
Earlier reports said that a house near the Yelenovka crossing point was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.*jk
