Donetsk, Jun 2 – DAN. Over 10 thousand DPR residents on June 1 commemorated the memory of Donbass children killed in the war as the international campaign Angel took place.
"In DPR only, 10 thousand people took part in the commemorative occasions," said the leader of public organization Young Republic Nikita Kiosev.
"The campaign involved all DPR cities and regions, I express garitute to all those who supported us and understood our ideas and raised the symbol of lights and children's souls."
The similar events took place in Russia and LPR.
DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova said commemorative occasions also took place in Europe.
The Angels campaign was truly international as it was organized in Germany, in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Quakenbrück. Our representative offices participated in the events in Italy and Greece; France, Serbia and South Ossetia have also remembered children of Donbass who lost their lives in the conflict.
In Donetsk, people launched hundreds of paper lanterns into the sky to commemorate the children killed in the Donbass war. Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Dokuchaevsk and other towns organized similar events. Residents of Kiev-controlled territories were expected to participate as well. *ot
