Donetsk, Jul 25 — DAN. The Azov-Black Sea Mathematics Center, set up on the basis of universities and institute of Donetsk and Simferopol will receive 40 million rubles in funding this year, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education told the Donetsk News Agency.
“A regional education and research math center was established on the basis of the Donetsk State University (Center Coordinator), the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (Donetsk) and Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, ” the press service said.
The establishment of the center was announced in late June at a conference chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko who received reports on implementation of the instructions he issued following his trip to the new regions earlier this year.*jk
