Donetsk, Sep 21 — DAN. Russia President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on partial military mobilization. He announced the decision in the video address published by the Kremlin on Wednesday.
“The decree on partial mobilization has been signed. Under the law, the Federal Assembly Houses will be informed about it by official letters today. Mobilization measures will begin today, ” the president said.
He ordered the governors of the Russian regions to provide comprehensive assistance to the operation of military commissars’ offices. The Russian citizens called up for military service under mobilization will have the same status, benefits and all social guarantees as contact servicemen.
