Donetsk, Apr 27 – DAN. Russian, DPR and LPR authorities have coordinated steps to place orphans and children deprived of parental care from the Republics in Russian families, the Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of Russia Maria Lvova-Belova told DAN.

"Principal steps have been coordinated at the meeting of the HQs, they will be incorporated in the road maps to settle the issue of family care for children from Donbass. The work focuses on developing bilateral agreements on adoption and fostering," she said.

Lvova-Belova also told that the Republics had asked to develop procedures to grant foster children and orphans Russian citizenship.

Almost 30 children have already been placed in foster families in the Moscow region for half a year.

"Foster care extension and mechanism of placing children into permanent foster families needs further clarification, as it is a matter of legislative compatibility of two states, though with similar family legislations," she explained.

Two contact groups of representatives of the three states were launched on April 6 to develop and synchronize legislation to facilitate the adoption of Donbass children in Russia. *ot
