Donetsk, Sep 13 — DAN. Russia is expected to deliver a humanitarian aid package of vaccines against the coronavirus infection and other diseases to the Donetsk People’s Republic in the near future, DPR government chairman Vitaly Khotsenko said after a meeting with Russian Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko on Tuesday.
“The Russian healthcare minister said that vaccines against COVID-19, flu and other infections will be supplied to the Donetsk People’s Republic in the near future, ” Khotsenko said.
The parties also discussed the modernization of health care infrastructure and the opportunities to build new medical facilities in the foreseeable future, as well as medical examination of children.
“It’s important that each DPR child — and we have more than 240,000 children — undergoes a medical examination, including those who live in the farthest corners of the Republic, ” the DPR prime minister said.
The DPR prime minister is currently on a working visit to Moscow. On Monday, Khotsenko held a meeting with Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Alexander Kozlov to discuss the possibility of groundwater exploration surveys.*jk
