Donetsk, Oct 7 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin wished a happy birthday to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday. His message was posted on the DPR leader’s website.
“Your name is associated with the landmark events in the current history of Donbass,” Pushilin said.
In his connection, he recalled the humanitarian assistance to Donetsk which Russia had provided for years, the recognition of DPR documents in Russia, the issue of Russian passports to Donbass residents, and the help in fighting the coronavirus infection.
“Thanks to your strong-willed decisions, citizens of the Russian Federation who live in Donbass took part in discussing amendments to the country’s Constitution and, together with the whole Greater Motherland recently voted for its future in the election to the State Duma,” the DPR Head said.
“We’re thankful to you for what you have done for Donbass residents, for the comprehensive assistance, restoration and protection of our rights,” Pushilin said. “We wish you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, robust health and happiness; we wish you well, and we also wish you new achievements in strengthening Russian statehood and consolidation of the Russian people!” *jk
