Donetsk, Sep 17 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin has taken part in online voting in the Russian parliamentary election.

“The election to the State Duma lower house of the Russian parliament has begun today. I have voted online. The process didn’t take much of my time. Everything is clear, easy and simple. I’m sure that those who opted for online voting will be successful,” the DPR leader wrote on his Telegram channel.

He said that many residents who have Russian citizenship have left for Russia’s Rostov region to vote. The authorities provided more than 800 buses and 12 trains to take residents to voting stations, and also made arrangement for simplified border crossing.

“I admit that I feel proud of determining the fate of Russia together with my compatriots. It’s our big common victory,” the DPR leader added.

The heads of the administrations of Donetsk and Gorlovka, Alexey Kulemzin and Ivan Prikhodko, said that they had voted, too.

“I’ve made my choice, what about you? Don’t stand aside. Russia is our choice!” Prikhodko wrote on his Telegram channel.

The election in Russia began late in the evening of September 16. The first voting stations opened in the Far East at 23:00, Moscow time. Online voting began on Friday morning. The voting will last till September 19.*jk
