Donetsk, Jan 24 – DAN. Fair Aid, an international charity organization, will send 14 DPR children to Moscow for medical treatment in the first such action this year.
“A list of 14 sick children has been drawn; on 27 January the group is to set out for the Russian Federation for medical treatment,” organization representative in DPR capital told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
Fair Aid was founded by Elizaveta Glinka, a member of the Russian president’s Council for Civil Society and Human Rights. Over the period of the Donbass conflict she sent almost 500 gravely ill DPR and LPR children to Russian health centres.
Glinka died in the plane crash off Sochi on 25 December 2016. There were no survivors among the 92 persons on board the Tu-154 headed for Syria.
Earlier reports said Fair Aid would uphold Glinka’s cause to help sick Donbass children. *jk
