Donetsk, Sep 29 – DAN. The DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko expects Kiev to protract the prolongation of the Donbass special status law as long as possible.
"Kiev considers the prolongation of the law unbeneficial. The special status means the end of Poroshenko's regime. They will block the prolongation of the law as much as they can," he said.
The round table on the Donbass special status and the expiring Ukraine's law granting the status to the region took place in Moscow on September 28. The participants agreed that the expiration of the law endangers the political settlement process. DPR top negotiator Denis Pushilin added that Donetsk shall insist on implementation of the law in full. *ot
