Donetsk, Jun 20 – DAN. The Ukrainian People’s Tribunal for investigating the Poroshenko's regime war crimes will announce the sentence on Lugansk central square on June 22, the Lugansk Media Center reported.
"The historic event - the announcement of the sentence by the Ukrainian People’s Tribunal, whose significance can only be fully appreciated by our children, will take place on Lugansk’s Teatralnaya Square at 9 a.m. on June 22, 2018," the agency said citing the LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry.
The judges have examined over a thousand of court files on war crimes of the Ukrainian current political regime against the people of Donbass.
The UPT has charged eight people: Ukraine’s president Petr Poroshenko, the minister of internal affairs Arsen Avakov, secretary of the national security and defense council of Ukraine Aleksandr Turchynov, prime minister Vladimir Groisman, commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, defense minister Stepan Poltorak, chairman of the Verkhovnaya Rada Andrey Parubiy, ex-prime-minster Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
The Tribunal was established by the initiative group of Donetsk and Lugansk residents to review the cases in accordance with the Ukrainian law and international standards. *ot
