Donetsk, Apr 24 — DAN. The all-Russia political party United Russia (ER) has opened four local offices in the Donetsk People’s Republic on Monday, the press service of the Party’s regional branch reported.
“United Russia” continues to open its branches in the Republic, ” the press services. “They began to operate in Khartsyzsk, Novoazovsk, Ilovaisk and Amvrosiyevka.”
Earlier, the Party launched its offices in ten DPR towns: Donetsk, Makeyevka, Snezhnoye, Torez, Shakhtyorsk, Yasinovataya, Debaltsevo, Yenakiyevo, Volnovakha and Dokuchayevsk. In February, ER announced plans to open 50 party reception offices in Donbass by the end of 2023.
“United Russia” is the largest political party of the Russian Federation. It was founded on December 1, 2001 through a merger of the “Unity” movement and Fatherland — All Russia and Our Home is Russia election blocs. The Party set up its regional branch in the DPR in 2022 after the Republic’s accession to Russia. Denis Pushilin was elected its secretary.*jk
