Donetsk, Feb 13 - DAN. Ukrainian National Security Council Secretary Alexander Turchinov’s statement on Ukrainian army advance in Donbass is public admission of Minsk Agreements violation by Kiev, DPR envoy to Minsk talks, the Republic’s parliament speaker Denis Pushilin told Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“Alexander Turchinov’s statements on Ukrainian forces’ 10-kilometre advance into the security zone is full confession,” Pushilin said. “We repeatedly said that Kiev forces had been taking settlements in the “grey zone.” A Ukrainian politician now openly makes such statements in public acknowledgement of Minsk Agreements violations by Kiev over the past two a half years.
He added that these statements must come under close scrutiny and be assessed by OSCE monitoring mission to Ukraine.
Earlier on Tuesday, Turchinov said Ukrainian forces had advanced ten or more kilometres deep into Donbass territory in some sectors of the contact line. *jk
