Sergey Zhelnovach appointed head of Debaltsevo administration

Donetsk, Dec 12  — DAN. Sergey Zhelnovach has been appointed head of the Debaltsevo town administration.

Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin has signed the decree on Zhelnovach’s appointment on Monday. The decree has come into force.

Zhelnovach was first deputy head of the Shakhtyorsk administration.

He is replacing Igor Zakharevich, who has run Debaltsevo since July 2019. Zakharevich was relieved of his duties on Sunday in connection with numerous complaints from the population.*jk
