Donetsk, Apr 19 – DAN. The security subgroup is to hold an emergency online meeting on April 20, the DPR delegation to the Contact Group said.
"An emergency meeting of the working group on security issues is scheduled for April 20," the statement reads.
The key issues to be discussed are as follows: investigating shelling incident, which left a civilian dead, and other ceasefire violations; coordination of the modalities of the mechanism launch and operation.
"We hope that our joint efforts will not allow the derailment of the current ceasefire, despite recent comments of the Ukrainian delegation spokesman," the DPR delegation said.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot
