Donetsk, Jul 22 - DAN. The Contact Group security subgroup members reached a compromise on three items of additional measures to tighten control over the effective ceasefire, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.
“Despite the active position of the representatives of the Republics and the Russian Federation, the package of tighter ceasefire control measures has not been fully coordinated: the parties have only compromised on three of the seven items of the document,” the report said.
“Ukraine refused to continue the discussion of the remaining four items which lend subjectivity to the responsible parties; the coordination was postponed to the Contact Group session on July 22,” the JCCC said following the security subgroup videoconference.
All the four dedicated subgroups on Donbass held talks via videoconference on Tuesday.*jk
