Donetsk, Sep 12 - DAN. Acting Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin signed a degree appointing acting Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova as DPR representative at the Minsk talks, the official DPR website reported.
The document, which came into force from the date of signing on September 12, said that “Natalia Nikonorova is appointed as the DPR’s permanent plenipotentiary representative at the talks of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk.”
Earlier, Nikonorova represented the DPR at the political subgroup meetings.
Pushilin had been the DPR’s envoy to the Minsk talks since 2014. He vacated the top negotiator’s position after the Republic’s parliament appointed him as acting DPR Head.*jk
