Donetsk, Oct 16 – DAN. Kiev's demands to disband Donbass Republics run counter the Minks Agreements and impede their fulfillment, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.
Press secretary of the Ukrainian representative in the Contact Group Leonid Kuchma said after the Contact Group's meeting in Minsk on October 15 that there are conditions to be fulfilled in order to implement the political aspect of the Minsk Agreements. Conditions include DPR and LPR "dismantle", abolish Russian currency, pass control over the border to Kiev.
"The voices demands are contradictory to the Minsk Agreements and make their implementation impossible," she said.
She reminded that any moves to settle the conflict must be coordinated with the Republics.
"Denying it leads nowhere. … Ukraine must realize as soon as possible that such rhetoric deepens the gap between Donbass and Kiev, between the reality and fantasy."
Current Ukrainian authorities are illegitimate and are not going to fulfill their obligations stipulated by the Minsk Agreements, said DPR Head Denis Pushilin earlier.
According to Pushilin, Ukraine "should be liquidated as an illegitimate state as it has been established as a result of a coup-d'etat and external interference of 2014" and "is still managed from the outside".*ot
